Presentation Description:
Device wide encryption can cause frustrations for digital forensic examiners, but even once the device is successfully 'decrypted' there are areas where additional layers of security or encryption may prevent access to key data. This talk will examine, in detail, some of these additional layers of security and aim to explain why data from some areas or applications such as Wickr or Signal may need additional measures for usable data to be extracted.
