The next Northern California HTCIA chapter meeting and training will be held on Thursday, January 26th from 0900 to 1200 hours PACIFIC STANDARD TIME.

Topic: Beyond RAM Analysis

The training will cover the identification and analysis of volatile data elements on a Windows system to help paint a full picture.  We will be discussing function of RAM, where the data writes to disk, how we can locate it, and what tools to leverage to analyze these data elements.

In addition to the obligatory coffee and donuts, Oxygen Forensics will also be doing a short demonstration of their digital forensic products and are kindly providing lunch for in-person attendees.

ALL IN-PERSON ATTENDEES WILL BE ENTERED INTO A RAFFLE FOR FREE NERD STUFF INCLUDING OUR NEW CHALLENGE COIN!

The training will be hosted at the DOJ Advanced Training Center which is now located at 4949 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95820.  To access the facility, use the driveway on 50th Street and enter on the north side of the building.  As it is a secure facility, you will need to provide identification and sign in at the Security desk.   Please do not enter on the south side of the facility.
