We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming online event, the ChatGPT Murder Mystery Lab. 

This lab exercise is designed to introduce cybercrime investigators to the basic concepts of using ChatGPT in investigations. During the lab exercise, we will provide you with a sample dataset of cybercrime-related text data and guide you through the process of using ChatGPT to generate relevant text data for investigations. We will also discuss the benefits and limitations of using ChatGPT in cybercrime investigations. 

The lab exercise will take place on March 29th at 10:00 am Pacific Time and will be conducted via Zoom. 

To participate, you will need to have access to ChatGPT. If your facility blocks ChatGPT, please consider using another method/location to join us. 

Prerequisite Preparation (Free ChatGPT Account Required)

To follow along with the labs, you will need to be able to access Chat GPT during this Zoom session. If your facility blocks Chat GPT, consider using another method/location to join us. 

  1. Go to the Chat GPT website at (https://chat.openai.com/auth/login) and click on “Sign Up” if you do not have a ChatGPT account yet. 
  2. Fill The Sign Up Form (or use offered credentials) and then click to “Continue”. Follow the prompts to complete and verify your account. 
  3. After successful sign up, login to ChatGPT to ensure you have access.
