Minnesota Chapter Meeting

Wednesday, September 21, 2022 (12:00 PM - 4:30 PM) (EDT)

Description

Mark Spencer from Arsenal will be presenting at our scheduled chapter meeting Confronting High-Stakes Evidence Tampering Arsenal President Mark Spencer will provide incredible insight into how his firm used innovative digital forensics tools and techniques to uncover evidence tampering in high-stakes terrorism-related cases. Many public and private-sector digital forensics practitioners failed in spectacular ways before Arsenal’s involvement in these cases, so we strongly recommend anyone involved in digital forensics attend. Arsenal Image Mounter and Arsenal's Latest R&D Digital forensics practitioners have used Arsenal Image Mounter’s (AIM’s) free functionality for many years to mount the contents of disk images as if they were “real” disks on Windows, but they may not know about AIM’s powerful functionality related to dealing with BitLocker-protected volumes, launching virtual machines, bypassing Windows authentication and Data Protection API (DPAPI), and more. Attendees of this presentation will gain insight into not only what can be done with AIM today, but Arsenal’s latest R&D which will be incorporated into AIM and our other tools in the near future.
